We performed the Aberdeen premiere of Stiles and Drewe's 'Soho Cinders' as our debut production. Though the show is set in London, it has roots to home as West End and TV actress, Amy Lennox, originated the role of Velcro in London.
"Audiences are in for a modern fairytale like no other, full of cheek, charm, and a hint of chaos - exactly what a first show from a rising theatre company should be" - Katherine Ferries (P&J)
"We had a fantastic time at Soho Cinders last night! The cast were brilliant, amazing voices, great storytelling & hilarious moments! Hats off to the crew & musicians too! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐" - Tartan Competitions.
"A TO Z absolutely knocked it out of the park with their production of "Soho Cinders" at Aberdeen Arts Centre. Very much looking forward to their next production. 5 Stars!" - audience member.
"Congratulations on a fantastic debut run at Aberdeen Arts Centre - Soho Cinders was brilliant! Excellent cast, great band and I LOVED the staging! The whole cast were top tier, but Robbie and Velcro in particular were out of this world. It was really nice to see a group using the space so creatively and differently" - Aberdeen Arts Centre.
"A wonderful entertaining local theatre production filled with laughs, heartache, catchy songs, and everything in between" - Sarah Gillanders (MAFS UK).
"No expense is spared with the brilliant sets and costumes. Unusually for the Art Centre the stage has been extended so the 5 piece, very talented, band has a sunken pit behind a walkway which the performers come out onto. This is cleverly used at the end of some scenes for two characters to come along singing, as the crew hastily change the set on the stage behind them whilst the audience's attention is diverted." - 5D.

‘Cinderella’ as you've never seen it before; this modern adaptation transfers the classic fairytale to the dirty streets of London’s Soho.
Robbie is an impoverished student, trying to make ends meet alongside his best friend Velcro at his family’s laundrette. The pair are down on their luck, where even hoping for the humdrum seems too high as Robbie’s stepsisters make life a misery. Across town, James Prince is running for Mayor, and whilst he tries to run his campaign on honesty, he finds himself wrapped up in an illicit affair where all world’s meet: Old Compton Street.
A story about politics, scandal and true love, Soho Cinders is an unorthodox fairytale, where everyone must fight for their own happily ever after.
Will Robbie and Velcro manage to keep the laundrette in the family? Will James win the mayoral race after his dirty laundry becomes public? And the question that’s on everybody’s lips.... will the stepsisters ever really give up men?
